Terms of Use

⚠ This is alpha software. By using Mytherra Messenger, you agree to the terms below. MYTC and MYT are experimental utility tokens, not investment products, not securities, not a stable store of value. Use at your own risk.

1. What this is

Mytherra Messenger is an open-source, end-to-end encrypted messenger with a built-in dual-chain wallet (MYT + MYTC). The service is provided free of charge as a non-commercial experiment.

2. No warranty

The software is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The operator is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from use of the service.

3. Self-custody

You are the sole custodian of your wallet. The 12/24-word recovery phrase is your only backup. If you lose it, your coins are gone permanently — we cannot recover them for you. Never share your recovery phrase or private key with anyone, including the operator.

4. Tokens

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service for illegal purposes including but not limited to: harassment, illegal goods/services, money laundering, sanctions evasion, or unauthorized access to other users' accounts. Spam and abuse may result in your message-delivery being throttled or blocked at the relay layer.

6. Service availability

The relay servers and faucet backend are best-effort. We may take services offline for maintenance, upgrades, or — in extreme cases — discontinuation. End-to-end encrypted messages are delivered peer-to-peer once both parties are online; the relay only stores undelivered messages temporarily (max 30 days).

7. Tax

Receiving MYTC (faucet, drip, staking rewards) may be taxable income in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for your own tax compliance.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced in the app and on this page.

9. Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by German law. Place of jurisdiction is Germany. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
